Consignment Terms & Conditions
Please read the below information before submitting an enquiry.
Consignment Commitment
All consignment submissions must include a minimum of 10 items or 2 accessories.
Only consign items your committed to selling. If you're undecided, please hold until your ready. Any item consigned with The Wardrobe Studio should not be listed elsewhere while in our possession.
Condition Requirements
Items must be in excellent condition, with any flaws or alterations disclosed in your submission form.
Before submitting your items, please inspect each piece carefully in natural lighting and check thoroughly. Please be attentive to the inside and outside of necklines, inside pants, sleeves, zippers, buttons and care labels during your inspections.
All items should be freshly dry-cleaned prior to drop off or shipping.
If an item arrives to our studio not as described, it will be excluded from your consignment collection and returned to you at your own expense.
Getting Your Items to Us
Following approval of your consignment collection, items can be sent to us via post or dropped to our Gold Coast based Studio.
For Gold Coast consigners, we offer complimentary collection for approved bulk submissions.
The Wardrobe Studio is not responsible for the risks of delivery, postage or insurance. This is the responsibility of the consigner.
Brands We Accept
We accept designer, ready-to-wear, accessories, and footwear from labels we know and trust.
View our designers list to see labels we have accepted for consignment. This list is not exhaustive and we are always open to considering other labels. If you're unsure if your piece qualifies, reach out to our team for guidance.
Brand eligibility does not guarantee every item from consigner submissions will be accepted. Please don't be discouraged if a piece from your selection isn't selected.
Rates
Our consignment rates are dependent on the price listed for each item.
Consigners will receive:
- 60% for items priced under $999
- 80% for items priced over $1,000
- 85% for items priced over $3,000
Payments to Sellers
Payments are processed weekly via bank transfer to your requested account, with a remittance advise emailed detailing items sold.
Full sales summaries are available upon request at anytime.
